TASKS
- Offer surgical treatment of the female reproductive system cancer in accordance with standards required by both national and international experts.
- Diagnose and treat ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and vulvar cancer.
- Specialize in radical hysterectomy
- Perform endoscopic procedures (laparocopy and hysteroscopy) using state-of-the-art equipment
- Perform vaginal hysterectomy
- We also offer treatment as part of the„One-day gynecology” program – biopsy and colposcopy
- We cooperate with the surgical oncology department allowing for interdisciplinary and radical treatment of patients with generalized cancer in the abdomen.
- We also closely cooperate with the chemotherapy and radiotherapy department with regards to implementing combined treatment.
750 surgery procedures are performed in the department each year.
ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION
- patients are consulted, qualified and admitted for treatment to the Department in room
212 in the Outpatient Clinic (2nd floor)
- patients should present the results of all examinations an consultations
- patients qualified for treatment are admitted on the day specified in the notice; they should show up in the admission room in the morning.
