TASKS
  • breast-conserving procedures (based on preoperative diagnostics using a mammotome breast biopsy and lesion localizing using stereotaxy and other imaging techniques) – partial breast resection, breast conseration treatment using oncoplastic surgical techniques, subcutaneous nipple areola complex sparing mastectomy with immediate breast implant reconstruction.
  • sentinel lymph node biopsy in patients with melanoma and low-advanced breast cancer – in cooperation with the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory
  • combined treatment of colorectal cancer and upper gastrointestinal tract cancer with particular focus on rectal cancer; TME (Total Mesorectal Excision) in surgical treatment of rectal cancer
  • En bloc surgery of sarcoma and soft tissue tumors
