TASKS
  • Offer surgical treatment of the female reproductive system cancer in accordance with standards required by both national and international experts.
  • Diagnose and treat ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and vulvar cancer.
  • Specialize in radical hysterectomy
  • Perform endoscopic procedures (laparocopy and hysteroscopy) using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Perform vaginal hysterectomy
  • We also offer treatment as part of the„One-day gynecology” program – biopsy and colposcopy
  • We cooperate with the surgical oncology department allowing for interdisciplinary and radical treatment of patients with generalized cancer in the abdomen.
  • We also closely cooperate with the chemotherapy and radiotherapy department with regards to implementing combined treatment.

750 surgery procedures are performed in the department each year.

ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION
  • patients are consulted, qualified and admitted for treatment to the Department in room
    212 in the Outpatient Clinic (2nd floor)
  • patients should present the results of all examinations an consultations
  • patients qualified for treatment are admitted on the day specified in the notice; they should show up in the admission room in the morning.
